I think it's pretty telling that none of the surrounding Arab States are offering to take in refugees from Gaza. 

You know something is up when their own people turn their backs on them. 

Egypt and Jordan have both said thanks but no thanks.

Good comparison. Saint George Floyd would be driven from any polite community but served a great purpose in dying underneath a cops knee. That timely drug overdose was something the movement could use. A rallying cry. Just like dead Palestinians.

Israel has a port of entry, Egypt has 24/7 guards with machine guns and a locked gate. The difference is notable.

I have a problem with a word in your thread title......can you delete the word "apparently "?

      The Palis seemed to make themselves burdensome guests to pretty much every host who ever took them in.... Jordan expelled Arafat and his merry PLO flock, after learning of Yasir's plot to dispose of Jordan's King Hussein, and take over leadership of the country himself ---- insisting Jordan was also Palestinian land. 
 
       Same story when he got chased out of Lebanon.

Yep.

Israel actually issues work visas to Palestinians, but Egypt won't even let them into the Country.

I read a couple of reports that said some of the Hamas militants that carried out the raid on 10/7 actually held work visas in Israel and they suspect that they were using them to gather intel for the raid.

Try to help a nigga out and they stab you in the back.

I actually heard a story on this- in the morning... They take young children brides?  They don't fit in. With the surrounding countries.
I head this ....

I had a friend...now passed who was Lebanese.  He was born here but he knew all thier customs and he would do and say things to be funny. He was a riot.  His last name was Korry and when his dad came to America they (Ellis Island) gave him that name a variation of thier hard to pronounce Leb name.  He told me that they told his father it was the law and they had to do it.

I learned at 8 years old that my last name was changed when my great great great grandparents came to this country. Brothers had to very their last name so they could track each siblings lineage after arrival.
