They aren't waiting for a conviction. Conviction on the charges he's facing wouldn't disqualify him.

I am 99% sure they can't do it because...than all you would have to do is make accusations against some to suit your agenda.

That is the precedent they are setting with these suits. I predict some will be successful.

States set ballot eligibility for their elections. Not sure the Supremes will step in.

But if OMB is not happy with the ruling he can appeal it to the State Supreme Court.

Than if he is not happy with thier ruling he can (I believe) appeal to the Federal District Court...from there he can go to the Supreme court !

first president elected by write in campaign. Hell of a precedence. then watch the electoral college get required again. to override the will of the people that outvoted those not voting.

Trump not on the ticket won't draw 50% of registered voters and in every election there are 35%-40% not voting anyway. and when 50% of the voting public don't vote for any party on the ballot. you found honest soles rejecting status quo.
