The government gets its powers from the consent of the governed. If we cannot trust our elections or our candidates fall prey to lawfare, what are the options? Civil War is dumb. There are no battle lines, no geographic division. Mass withholding of income tax is a possibility. No taxation without representation.

Maybe another insurrection? Except this time it would need to be in the millions, not a couple hundred.

the thing about artists is they show what they believe in their art. Not what actually exists staying alive now.

look at that picture of Uncle Sam painting a tree like a mushroom cloud. that is the mentality of the artist, not a country.

excuse me, I am not part of your we mantra intellectually typecasting your we as a separate class of people than those you manage with power of suggesting life isn't self evident to evolving as displaced limited to mutually evolving when spontaneously alive simultaneously in this atmosphere bound to a specific generation gap.

Explaining the methods used to cover up isn't good enough as the circumstantial evidence created by hyperbole there was an insurrection 1/06/2021.

You watch Rashida's speech openly calling for an insurrection....or doesn't your TV get those channels?

How about the Summer of Love riots......did cloud cover mess up your reception?

Partisan hacks can be traced back to their parents and grand parents.....they vote one way, 'cuz that's the way its always been.

Any State that would disallow Trump to be on the ballot most likely wouldn't have allowed him to carry the State if he were on the ballot anyway.

Places like Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Georgia, and Arizona come to mind.

You witnessed civil disobedience turning into a brief riot. Less consequential and damaging than 500 of the 726 blm riots a few months prior. Whole thing lasted three hours. We had riots in Washington that lasted three months. No credible or armed threat was brought against the government, it wasn't an insurrection.

Though it would be entertaining to see the Military Prowess of the Left's Pink Berets, as they demonstrate the art of Hand-to-Hair Styling Combat.... And their Command structure would probably be setting up operations in fortified positions on the 11th floor of the Montreal Hilton...

That aside, I don't see a physically violent Civil War in our future... What I do think is possible is individual States begin to abstain and not fully comply/cooperate with the Feds on a broad range of policies & issues, as more & more people agree that one-size fits-all Government from the Federal level is no longer working... I'm thinking a restoration of the self-governing powers to the States, that the Founders intended... Then it eventually comes down to the individual making the choice of which State best represents the type of Government they want to live under.
problem being is the states rely too heavily on federal funding...

There was no first insurrection. Conservatives suck at rioting and civil disobedience due to lack of experience.
