These vending machines aren't as high tech as you might think
There's actually just a tiny 5 year old Chinese kid living inside the machine who assembles the sandwiches and then all the customer sees is a tiny hand emerge from the machine to deliver the finished product.

I had people around me that asked me to comply so I did. I didn't regret my decision.
At the time, as you just alluded, not much was "known".
What I DID know was this:
1) A virus will NOT go away. It's here forever. Deal with that.
2) The chances of death (or even serious injury) were very low.

I do not advocate for the jab. At all.
But I played the cards dealt based on MY priorities.

Agreed, for myself it came down to personal choice and the recommendation of my Primary Care Doc at the VA... I got the 2 Moderna Jabs.. It was not mandatory, and I don't believe it should have ever been mandated to anyone .... I remained indifferent if others got the Jab or not... Also, I honestly do not know if I ever got Covid... It's certainly possible I did with little to no symptoms... My elderly Mother got it 3 times --- all she was prescribed in each case was fluids, Tylenol and bedrest... An older Brother had it once and was put on oxygen... We thought we were going to lose him..
The whole Covid saga / epidemic will be a medical and social case study for decades to come on just how collassaly bad it was managed on every front... It's sickening to reflect on how many people's lives were needlessly destroyed, businesses lost, and how some used the Virus to promote themselves, while punishing others... The politicalization of it was beyond disgusting..

I had it in May 2020 and It was just a bad cold. A bit more fatigued than with a cold but nothing all that severe. Had Shingles 9 months after this (there is no connection) and that was far worse than Covid

something triggers shingles.
the people i know who came down with it- suddenly..
had just started a new med of some kind?

My guess is that it was due to stress and lack of sleep. All I know is that it was awful. It was like the worst sunburn that you ever had coupled with the feeling that you were being shocked when the infected area was touched even in the slighest.

she used to make me look at her back. No mom- there's nothing there. She came down with it as soon as she tried a new med.

I do not take any meds regularly. In the weeks before the red bumps appeared.. I would be in the shower and feel like something was pinching me with toenail clippers. I will be getting the vaccine when i turn 50. Any chance to prevent that 4 week nightmare from happening again, I will do.
