It didn't help you.
I know goober
I didn't say Floyd was responsible... but trying to say his own actions had nothing to do with the outcome of the situation is just being disingenuous, because it did.Mrkelly » 26 Oct 2023, 7:16 am » wrote: ↑ like I said .. how did we get here

What was Floyd doing?

Again... all those thousands of unarmed blacks executed by white cops on that database I gave you would have jumped for joy at EITHER option.
If you're a white man in America and you kill black people, you get a whopper.
when did I say the cops just picked Floyd at random?RedheadedStranger » 26 Oct 2023, 7:30 am » wrote: ↑ I didn't say Floyd was responsible... but trying to say his own actions had nothing to do with the outcome of the situation is just being disingenuous, because it did.
Your position (and others as well) seems to be that the cops just picked Floyd out at random and went and killed him... when that isn't the case at all.
The cops were only there in the first place because of Floyd's own choices and actions.
Did you see the link and video I posted about Daniel Shaver? He actually was trying to comply, and the cops just flat out blew him away... and we're aquitted for it.
I guess that one didn't matter though because Shaver was white.
Compare the cases of Daniel Shaver and George Floyd and tell me which of the two should more invoke National outrage and an entire Summer of burning and looting?Mrkelly » 26 Oct 2023, 7:40 am » wrote: ↑ when did I say the cops just picked Floyd at random?
im talking about you being OK with a cop putting his knee on a subdued man’s neck for 9 minutes
to take your position to the absurd, like you have mine
the cop had the right to execute Floyd because he was a criminal
I guess that one didn't matter though because Floyd was black
There is no differenceRedheadedStranger » 26 Oct 2023, 7:47 am » wrote: ↑ Compare the cases of Daniel Shaver and George Floyd and tell me which of the two should more invoke National outrage and an entire Summer of burning and looting?
You had probably never even heard of Daniel Shaver until I just mentioned his name... because he was white.
Shaver was actually trying to comply with police and was executed in cold blood... Floyd was resisting arrest and died while being restrained.
Floyd was black = National outrage.
Shaver was white = Nobody even hears about it.
Swe the difference here?

You lied and got called on it... and instead of owning in, you're just spinning and diverting as usual.
The cops did not take Roof to BK for a value meal on the way to the station.
You lied... just own it.
So when you ask "how did we get here?"... you need to understand that we didn't suddenly just arrive at this spot in regards to cops and citizen interactions... we've been here for a while.Mrkelly » 26 Oct 2023, 7:49 am » wrote: ↑ There is no difference
cops do not have the right to execute people
Without a difference my ***. You flat out **** lied, and then doubled down on the lie. Just own it already you hack.maineman » 26 Oct 2023, 7:55 am » wrote: ↑ a distinction without a difference. Did Muhammed go to the mountain or did the mountain go to Muhammed.
The cops bought Dylann Roof a Whopper extra value meal... and you want to make a big deal about whether or not they detoured to BK on the way TO the police station, or made a separate special trip out to get his extra value meal after he was already in the police station.
If I had the order wrong, God forgive me. Bottom line: cops go out of their way to get white boys who kill *** Burger King Meals. Cops KILL *** for passing bad checks.

What we should be asking is how did we get to the point that our politicians and MSM could so easily use something like the George Floyd incident to rip the Nation apart for political expendiency.
That's the question we should be asking.
The fallout from the Floyd incident has directly led to the surge in crime in the inner cities. The Chauvin persecution told the criminal element that you are now free to do as you please without fear of reprocussions... and they are taking full advantage of it.
So... how did we get here?

YOU are the one that said the cops took Roof to BK... not me.
And Floyd didn't try to "pass a bad check" either... he was trying pass a counterfeit $20 bill.
Try to at least get something right would ya?
You didn't watch the video.Mrkelly » 26 Oct 2023, 8:03 am » wrote: ↑ butwhatabout
the only thing I am complaining about is
why are we giving cops a pass?
What if i said .. Daniel Shavers deserved to die because he was intoxicated, pointed a rifle out of a hotel window, and reached for his waste like he was going for a gun
Absurd right?
like I saidRedheadedStranger » 26 Oct 2023, 8:24 am » wrote: ↑ You didn't watch the video.
Shaver was prone on his stomach with his hands out and open... and the cop shot him in the back execution style.
I'm not condoning police violence, I'm only saying that cops have to deal with the worst of the worst of society in most cases and **** happens.
The bigger question we should be asking is why was the Floyd case promoted so hard and heavy by the MSM and politicians and not the Shaver case when Shaver was flat out executed on video while actually trying to comply and Floyd died while being restrained while resisting arrest?
It seems to be a case of selective outrage based on race.
