Cyndi said she read that the guy had recently been released from a mental institution.

This isn't a case of someone slipping through the cracks... but more of a case of letting it happen.

This seems to be the standard anymore with these mass shootings. Ref flags galore, but they still happen anyway... and then they blame the sane people that own guns for the problem.

We don't have them in TN either but anytime someone is either found guilty of a domestic or is committed to a mental institution (voluntary or involuntary) they lose the right to own or possess firearms until they can prove to the court that they are no longer a danger to themselves or anyone else.

It's just common sense.

Surely a blue state like Maine would have something similar if a red state like TN does.
