And I agree that Card exhibited cowardice, and many many Mainers might very well feel cheated out of some degree of closure or at least some understanding as to his possible motive, but, many many MORE Mainers are just glad to get on with the healing and not have to relive this nightmare in some long-running court case.

well, the only "good thing" to come out of it is, yes, it's over and the healing can begin, that this **** won't cost another dime to taxpayers via trial and incarceration...

I was talking with my neighbor about this last week...my question was, "what is their endgame?" I just don't get it...

these "we're all winners" snowflakes who get their feelings hurt feel their only recourse is to gun people down? I figured serving in the marines would have beaten some responsibility and common sense into him...I don't **** get it...

seek help or do everyone a favor and quietly end it, gameover, done deal and lives spared...

exactly.  My wife and I have always said that we could tolerate those folks who commit murder/suicides a lot easier if they just reversed the order in which they committed the crimes.
