The Israel Defense Forces says it has killed the commander of Hamas’s Central Battalion, Ibrahim Biari, caused by a underground terror tunnels to collapse in an airstrike a short while ago.  Also killing several other terrorists and caused underground terror tunnels to collapse, bringing down several nearby buildings.

Palestinian reports said at least 50 people were killed in the strike and subsequent collapse.  The IDF says it also “reiterates its call to the residents of the area to move south for their safety.”

Author says:  I’m sure leftists everywhere will blame Israel for this without one ounce of condemnation for Hamas building tunnels beneath their cities and for refusing to allow Palestinians to leave their cities after Israel warned them to evacuate immediately.

It's shameful enough the Hamas scumbags hide behind their civilians --- but they hide UNDER them as well.... pussies.
I'm surprised the Hamas supporters haven't been insisting those tunnels were just for aging wine and Goat cheese...

Not really.  I posted a link in another thread...In a poll of Palestinians, when offered three resolution options...a two state solution with Jerusalem the capital of both, a live together in peace option or only after armed conflict...52% of Palestinians choose only after armed conflict.  Be careful what you wish for, you just may get it.

Israel offered the Arafat / PLO everything they wanted (for peace) except East Jerusalem where the Palis want thier capital and they were turned down.

As far as the 52%...in Philly where I come from ObamaChrist won a 110% of the votes and at another ward 100% of the votes.

What does that tell you  ?

Yo Dude...I am not good at math or am I reading this wrong ?
.
According to the survey, only 34% of Russians would support President Vladimir Putin if he decided to end the invasion and return occupied territories to Ukraine..
However, 70% of respondents said they would support Putin’s decision to end the invasion of Ukraine, without the caveat about returning territories.

So, 4% would support Putin either way.

It's spin and offer this to you:
.
Polls in potential presidential elections paint a different picture. If new presidential elections were held with two candidates, Fatah’s Mahmoud Abbas and Hamas’s Ismail Haniyeh, Abbas would receive 37 percent of the vote, and Haniyeh would win in a landslide with 58 percent.
.
MTF ask:  How can the author know the candidate...in other words he is dealing in hypothecal currency !
..
Here is the kicker: MFT says: He is a JOOO hating DEM ...like all the rest !
.
Mellman is president of The Mellman Group and has helped elect 30 U.S. senators, 12 governors and dozens of House members. Mellman served as pollster to Senate Democratic leaders for more than 20 years...

I didn't pay much attention to the Russian portion as I was looking for the Palestinian information.  However, my guess is some Russians would support Putin ending the invasion either way (wasn't an either/or question).  If that is a sticking point for you...look for the actual survey questions.

It also doesn't say it was an either/or question.  That is an assumption YOU ARE MAKING.

If you don't like the survey, ignore it an move on.  It's really not that difficult.

I get the feeling he would be supported by a huge majority either way.

Not North Korean type support where everyone "smiles and adores" under surveillance...
but actual support for a strong leader.
Russia has always had many separate countries/leaders on its borders.
Not friendly a great deal of the time.

Protecting Mother Russia is ingrained and requires a strong leader.
Their people appreciate that way more than Americans with our borders and "diversity" BS.

Hamas is scum for using civilians as shields. Israel is also scum for not sending in special forces to pluck off Hamas surgically. We did it in Afghanistan and Iraq. The Taliban and Al Queda also used civilians as shields. We sent in special forces to pluck them off. We didn't bomb the whole damn place.

THere's definitely truth to what you are saying....
While up to recently, Hamas (reportedly) still had widespread support amongst the Gazans,  I'm thinking some of that has waned... I'm also beginning to question the methodology & accuracy of the poll I read which showed that majority approval of Hamas..

What is telling is how could Israel be able to pinpoint all of these Hamas leaders, tunnels, firing points, and such without the help of some disaffected Gaza civilians on the ground who've had enough of the misery Hamas has brought down on them.. I'm thinking a growing number of the Gaza residents have had enough, and are ready for a change.
