Hamas is wanting a cease fire because they are on the ropes. Israel doesn't want a cease fire because they want to eliminate Hamas.

This is the same pattern these two have followed at least a few times before... Hamas attacks and indiscriminately kills a bunch of Jew civilians and Israel hits back 10 fold in retaliation. Rinse and repeat... this **** always fits the same pattern. Hamas usually ends up beaten and bruised so badly that they aren't capable of waging war for a while and have to rebuild before they can go at it again. And the Innocents die with the rest of them, like always.

What's different now is Israel appears to be ready to finish the job this time. I hope that Israel will start at least trying to take care of the survivors left in their wake once they push hard on the ground offensive, but time will tell if they do.

of course with all the money you know who gives israel, they will bomb gaza to pieces and all the people  in it.

I just thought it was kind of funny except they are going use the money to bomb what is left in gaza and kill who ever is left on gaza.

But the dims have to accept a hitch in their giddyup as regards their war on the middle class. The agents intended to destroy them will get laid off if the bill passes the senate - and if it DOESN'T pass the senate, aipac is gonna eat some democrat *** for its supper.

The innocents were ALREADY dying. That takes away israel's leverage. "Take these vicious human rights violations with a smile, or we will subject you to vicious human rights violations!" We MEAN it!

True, but at this point they are probably scraping the bottom of the barrel on those even.

I would guess that Hamas is pretty much down to AKs, RPGs, and IEDs by now... not that those can't be a potent combo just the same.

Jerusalem is Israeli, its not occupied. Palestinians were offered a two state solution with Jerusalem as its shared Capitol but they violently rejected it. There is no apartheid, there is an effort to gentrify Jerusalem but this is a local civil matter that should be handled by an Israeli court. Hardly something the UN needs to comment on. They don't comment on the gentrification that occurs in the US, they shouldn't have an opinion on this.
