I feel sorry for innocent people dying on both sides of this conflict but the blame for not having a state of their own is on the Palestinian leaders.

No, I was all for a two state solution. Give Arafat the Nobel Peace Pize, bring on a stable two state Israel and Palestine. I wanted peaceful coexistence in that region, a place considered holy by three quarters of the world's population. When they walked away from that deal and started an Intifada they lost some sympathy. Debatable. Israel's goal is to establish their Zionist movement, known as Israel. The ideology was founded in 1897. Well...The Old Testament is a tad older than that. So, it's just as likely that God doesn't know what the hell the Jews are talking about.

Those details are a little more important than just something you can negotiate, such as controlling 80% of their water supply and their most important port of commerce.
