I ABHOR what Israel has done in the west bank.... and I stand firm in my belief that if Hamas wants to capture the moral high ground in the PR battle, slaughtering thousands of Israeli teenagers at a rock concert is not the best way to do that.
Hamas has TRIED your tactic - just bleed really loud. They don't want the moral high ground. They want an end to apartheid and the right to own their properties without a government robbing them.
Israel could wash their hands of palis if they HELP them set up a government, rather than PREVENT them.
But israel wants their **** land. And they want that land free of palis. So they torture and murder to get what they want.

if Hamas had not been gluttons and had passed on dessert, they would be in a MUCH better position, PR wise. I think that most Israelis would back a TWO state solution, but not a three-state solution. If Abbas could unify Gaza and the West Bank, I think that Bibi could be brought - kicking and screaming, perhaps - to the table.

For STARTERS, the only reason the west bank and gaza are NOT under one government is israel's meddling and manipulation - in the very person of bibi, who you pretend would welcome reunification.

You don't have to sell me on your opinion that Bibi is fascist asshole. I am there. I do NOT believe that the majority of Israelis - who, admittedly, it was a long time ago that I lived amongst them - would not support a two state solution if it meant that the rockets would stop.

By the way, I do not argue with this. But I WILL point out that the high road, for palis, just leads to more of them dying, if past is prologue. More humiliation, more dispossession. If they do not shock the world, they do not get heard.
