Many years ago I heard that 1/4 of all pet food is consumed by humans. I'm talking about a time when a can of beef chunks was 19 cents or so. I tried "Walter Kendall Fives"...which was a bunch of different colored dry chunks. Probably a combo of flour, corn meal, animal fat, ground up bone, pancreases, arteries, scrotums, snouts, lymph nodes, brains, etc.
I thought it was pretty good.

I tried the dry stuff and some gainsburgers. It tasted about the same , but I preferred the texture of the dry food. However, I wouldn't say it was pretty good. The best dog food. They run whole chicken on sale for .69 a pound. We boil it and shred it up. It's cheaper than processed dog food. Mix that will some high quaility dog food and my Golden loves it.

You know what - I've been considering doing the same thing. It'll keep for about a week. The secret is in the seasoning... and percentage of rodent droppings.

Without fail there would always be at leastone kid [or another] who would "BLOW LUNCH" on HDD.
Having a BARFARAMA on HDD was tradition.
If other schools in the USA had HDD too...I imagine they had the same results....with countless kids from sea to shining sea barfing away..
