Your use of the word "it" is a pronoun without antecedent.

If this were a mere grammar snafu, I would still take issue, because I'm an asshole like that.

But I'm taking double issue.

You seem to be of the opinion that I've been propagandized by the same folks that abuse you. I haven't. I am taking their abuse through the filter of you - such as you are. You are going to need to remind me exactly what office was visited and by whom, or you're just deflecting. I've already gone down one rabbit hole with you, and at the end of that rabbit hole - which was supposed to be full of rabbits, - we found one guy from the interior department (if I recall correctly) who got indicted the better part of four years after the incident and whose case, IF there is one, is not even on the books yet.

Now you're talking about some office in GA being visited by nefarious people for nefarious reasons, and you're asking ME - the guy you're supposed to be educating, here - to connect YOUR dots for YOU. That makes ****-fer sense, son.

How about you make your **** case instead of axing me to do it - huh?

Probably because I do not doubt that what I suggested was what happened, actually happened, and I really don't CARE one little tiny bit whether or not you agree with me.  If you want to count this as a "win" for your powerful debating expertise, congratulations.  A couple dozen street rabble caused the Congress of the United States to delay the peaceful transfer of power.  Amazing what a few beers and a couple dozen MAGA ballcaps can do - **** magic!

I cannot imagine anyone seeing it otherwise.

You made silly, hyperventilated claims, and then you demanded - repeatedly - that I prove you right. When asked for evidence, you demanded I provide it for you. Yeah - I call that a win.

That is your take of my position - not my position. Nothing resembling my position. I don't know whether your brain is big enough to comprehend my position.

If I may ask - respectfully - what is your hat size? Can you tell me how many fingers you can place between brow and natural hairline? Also, do you have any bumps on your head that are not from accidents, and if so, how many and where? I'm not in a position to do an actual phrenological exam on you, but if you could find the time to provide this information, it would be helpful in determining whether I want to share my actual position - as opposed to the one you assigned me. TIA. :)

I have seen why people plead guilty of the charges pitted against them in a court of law stacking circumstantial evidence against them then using the court of public opinion against the person on trial. Had a sibling put in a national show trial.

Let me restate my position and, humbly apologize if I was less than clear in earlier posts.

It is my belief, and my understanding of events that the efforts of team Trump to figure out some way to hold onto the presidency regardless of what the voters decided at the polls were multifaceted and involved a lot more than a few dozen street rabble-rousers on J6.

I think that the list of subpoenas indictments and convictions includes an army of lawyers, political power brokers, and public officials within the White House staff, the DOJ, and state and local governments as well.  This truncated list of articles below documents that contention:

I try to write in well-constructed paragraphs.  You, on the other hand,  deliver one-liner insults.

I explained why I felt the coup attempt was a multifaceted effort involving a small army of attorneys, political staffers, and government employees at the federal, state and local levels spread over months, and not just a few dozen rowdies on January 6th.  If you care to discuss that, please join in.  If you just want to confine your input to snarky one-line insults,  you're on your own.

The Coup attempt exists only in your mind, because you are unable to dispassionately exam the facts and events of the day. Instead you try and concoct a hoax that has the events of that day being planned months in advance over a wide spread conglomeration of citizens to achieve something in the face of a prevailing thought at the time......Trump could not be defeated by a candidate that never left his basement and when he did, every speech was largely attended by leftist media and general disinterest by the voting public.

You claim to want an honest dialogue, but applaud the arrests and convictions of people that you disagree with. It's not surprising because two things are needed to be a Democrat...a liar and a hypocrite.

So they were MANIPULATED, then. Not "in on it." They were useful idiots.

That narrative is diametrically opposed to your previous one. It waddled the protesters into the rotunda as armchair coup plotters, their KFC-smudged fingers on the very levers of power. You were pushing J6 as a veritable Decent of the Digitalis Detachment, wherein hidden agents from Operation Paperclip were called out of deep cover and reactivated - transformed from goobers who shout "hell yeah!" at Sean Hannity, and bore strangers with hackneyed talking points, into clear eyed Machiavellian sleepers on a Mission to overthrow Murka (as if you perverts have not already overthrown it with your burning cities and bowing to criminals and defunding police and do-nothing prosecutors and gaslighting children Image).

You get that, right? That this post is not a clarification, but a **** SEA CHANGE, which takes us not farther in the conversation we WERE in, but into a whole other conversation?

Okay, so here is my truth in the matter.

I won't pursue what I am extremely suspicious is a gish gallop that will prove only that people can run narratives on you more effectively than they can gaslight me. But since I am NOT looking at your proffer of proof, justice demands that I speak to you as if you HAVE convinced me of your case.

Here is my response to the massive and undeniable proofs you have bitch-slapped me with: I don't care. I never voted for Trump and I never liked him except as an agent of trolling. Ask not for whom Trump trolled - he trolled for ME.

I will go to Jesus believing your toddler had the election stolen for him - that Trump won it by a landslide and had it stolen by the deep state. Your proof of Trump's felonious actions notwithstanding - and I grant your gish gallop is the mother lode of peer reviewed, church sanctioned Truth with a capital T, and Trump did everything you SAY he did; - those crimes not withstanding, I will not ONLY tell Jesus that Trump won, but I will call Jesus a liar and take my punishment if he says otherwise.

You claim to want an honest dialogue, but applaud the arrests and convictions of people that you disagree with. It's not surprising because two things are needed to be a Democrat...a liar and a hypocrite.

Your refusal to accept the reality of the success of the non-traditional campaign strategy employed by the Democratic Party in 2020 makes honest dialog difficult if not impossible.  Biden did not physically travel and hold large rallies, but he certainly was effective in using a whole variety of alternate communications and messaging strategies to identify, locate, reach, inform, and motivate his base.

You would, of course, be unaware of that, because those efforts and strategies were never directed at you or your ilk.  You didn't receive emails from your party on a nearly daily basis.  You didn't receive phone calls from party volunteers several times each week inquiring as to how you were progressing in getting your ballot request form that they had sent you mailed in, had you received your official ballot in the mail, had you filled it out, had you mailed in, and then verified its receipt online  That happened to me and to millions and millions of Democrats all around the country.  And none of us bragged about it or broadcast it for fear of waking the sleeping elephant and watching the GOP pivot as we had done and possibly close the gap.

The number of supporters at rallies is not a critical metric.  The number of supporters who actually cast ballots is.  The Democratic party has always been much better at GOTV, and, in 2020, we took it to a whole new level.

Republicans are already talking about how they will need to embrace the expansion of mail-in ballots in future elections, but, I predict, they will be too lazy to actually follow through and successfully redesign their GOTV efforts.

I have to say, your last post - #244 that I unfairly but quite abandonedly pilloried - was about as fine writing as I have seen on this board. It was illuminating, tight, and powerful.

I was impressed. In fact, I was just SURE you had cadged it (no offense - I'm suckspicious). I did my Barney Fife, nip-it-in-the-bud due diligence and was rewarded with silence from the catch-that-****.

Seriously - major props on a brilliant argument.
