i am 94, have been thinking about the cost of cremation. do they take a debit card?  as a way of saving money, can uber deliver in my body? i feel good. but i may fall from a tree or, a pig shoot me. hard to predict. i know none of you have been cremated. but were you involved in cremating someone? other than your dog. oh. is do it yourself legal? as i am dying could i climb on a pile of wood and light a match. what could they do to me? oh so much fun thinking of my cremation.

I have done it.
if you die someone will come and cart you away.
to a morgue i think.
if a family member decides to have you cremated. that happens..
and you will be delivered to them in a heavy cardboard box. 
my ol man came usps. lol  
In 2019 it cost me about 1600$. maybe less.

          There can also be unexpected costs and inconveniences when dealing with Cremation..... 
I had a Great Uncle who was Irish born, and drank an ocean of Whiskey over the years..... When he passed away and they Cremated him, it took the Fire Dept. almost 2 hours to put him out...

I called inquiring about cremation for my Democrat neighbor, but they said he had to die first.....this narrow range of requirements must really be bad for business.

They will take any means of cashing in on your death.

Make sure you give all your **** to somebody first.
Probate is there to "help" but they don't really care that much, stranger.

Then run up some bills and quit paying taxes and ****. Live it up before the barbeque.

well- when my old man died. 2019
I had tons of problems. We were together for years- 30 plus -never married.

His brother had to get the death documents. legally... He was rich and the bastard charged me 7.95 cents to send them to me.

 David left me his house..

next- the house was rented... That clown waited a week- and claimed a slip and fall_ suit
 here we go..

so after a few months.. I talked to the bank..
I have my own house... I cant pay for two- when the renter won't pay.. He sat there 2 years because of covid and Biden

so i decided to walk away! I signed a voluntary fore-closure ... to walk away. The bank agreed...
a few years passed...
They took over the ownership of the house!! fixed it up. sold it at auction.. i had  a windfall..
never knew -- being so stoopid would work out so well! pure ignorance- and lady luck
 

gave up on cremation. i am out of breath digging my grave. only 2 feet deep. is it deep enough? for burial, i plan to dress in a scary Halloween uniform. any other great ideas?

burning a dog or a mother-in-law is easy enough....but they seem to draw the line on taxidermy...at least in the mother-in-laws case...but I know a guy

Right. There is plenty of that already.

There was a billboard that was simple yet profound:
"Just remember, YOU are traffic."

Trying to get people to take it easy on the busy roadways, I suppose.

But that same sentiment applies to life in general.
All those people, places, and things that "get in the way" are pretty much what YOU are doing, too.
YOU are annoying, messy, slow, weird, etc...      ...to someone else.
