By the way...I left off NASCAR (men), Formula 1 (men), the NBA Summer League (men) and boxing (men and women) because those are either limited in number or a very short season (NBA Summer League).

The teams make money for the restaurants, casinos, shops, etc.

The local people don't care.  You don't seem to understand that these teams aren't there for the local poor people.

People who spend buckets of money care, and that is the market for these sports teams.

I can always count on you to deflect to irrelevant things. Did you miss the part where I said that I couldn't care less who the people are that attend? Locals or not.

You clearly don't understand how sports work. If the numbers are low, then the producers lose money. Nobody cares who those attendees are. It's about ticket sales, not about where the spectators are from.

This isn't a hard concept.

Prediction: You will continue to focus on caring where the spectators are from, though nobody gives a crap about where the spectators are from.

Las Vegas Raiders - NFL (men)
Vegas Golden Knights - NHL (men)
Las Vegas Lights - Soccer (men)
Las Vegas Aces - WNBA (women)
Las Vegas Aviators - Baseball (AA) affiliate of the Oakland A's (men) - they may have to relocate when the MLB club moves
Las Vegas Desert Dogs - Lacrosse (men)

So...if the women pro volleyball is real, that will make 2 female franchises and (after the A's move) either 5 or 6 male franchises.

The aviators doesn't count. I said pro.
Lacrosse doesn't count because that sport is gay.

I do know how sports work.  If the owners didn't think these teams were going to make a profit, then they wouldn't be promoting them.

There is a lot of circular money happening in Vegas.  Hotels and restaurants promote the games to out of town fans, and the games bring money into the hotels and restaurants.  It is a symbiotic relationship.

I just can't figure why you are so offended by people being interested in sports that you don't like.  I 'm not interested in any sports, but I don't have a problem with people who do.

It's not about profit anymore. It's about going woke. Women's sports don't profit. Period. Bud Light went woke, they lost billions. Apple went broke once in the past, they lost billions. Coca Cola, Nike, and many more once tried woke, and they lost billions. They had to go back to there original model to regain their losses. Vegas appears to be going the woke direction. They will lose in the end.

Female pro sports are not nearly as lucrative as their male counterparts. All you have to do is look at their financial statements. I have no problem with folks taking a risk and trying to make female pro sports be profitable.

A woman's job is not on the field playing sports. Their job is serve beer to the men who are watching the sports and make us sandwiches on command.

Just because you don't enjoy women's sports doesn't mean other people don't enjoy it.

I'm sure the investors have looked at the business models, and made their decision about how they want to spend their money.

I'm not really seeing a "Woke" issue about bringing in women's sports.

I caught the pun, but it is still stupid enough to keep people off track to how evolving works in real time. No doubt you are in advertising, arts, or time management profession.
