That "very reluctant testimony" was extorted from them. And McCarthy knows this. But who pays the piper calls the tunes."I don't believe that Trump's lawyers, who were trying to help him, would testify—as they have very reluctantly testified—that he tried to get them to destroy evidence and obstruct justice, unless he really did try to get them to destroy evidence and obstruct justice."

McCarthy - your article's author - is a paid producer of narratives working for DC think tanks and deep state opinion makers. He literally makes **** up for a living - and the **** he is paid to make up fits the agenda of the people PAYING for it. The folks paying are a think tank called the CSP, and another called the FDD.
Think-tanks are paid to create narratives intended to distract and misinform you - to set you spinning harmlessly, like a top. Islam is not destroying America. Not from within, and not from without. The "deep state" - of which McCarthy is an apparatchik - is. Here's a quote from the former Trump supporter, from his column in National Review:

Islam is not the clear and present danger we are facing. It just isn't.
I challenge you to name one single thing that Islam has done to this country that even BEGINS to amount to anything like filling our armed services with insane people and forcing us under color of law to pretend along that bruce jenner can magically be a woman. Or erasing our southern border. Or introducing transgender molesters into our children's schools. Or letting wall street steal our children's futures with bailout after bailout. Or robbing us of trillions to combat fake pandemics and fake climate emergencies. Or forcing real medicine underground and punishing any doctor caught practicing it. Or turning America into the fattest, sickest, most drug addicted country on earth.
Just name one thing.
That's what I thought.

It's a pet peeve of mine, pook.
We recited, "God is great, God is good, let us thank Him for our food - amen" before we went to the cafeteria.
I am convinced that when we stopped doing that, Got god angry.
And you wouldn't like Him when He's angry.

the only mention of God in our school was reciting the Pledge of Allegiance...which of course has been eliminated..

Nothing to do with the litigation part other than it's always their first resort to getting their way...with them there is no compromise...Cannonpointer » 30 Nov 2023, 11:28 am » wrote: ↑ I have come back to this post several times, suspecting that you actually mean something by it. And I honestly do not believe your irony is intentional.
How many muslims have sued to to disappear Christ from the public square? How many have used the courts to legalize abortion? How many have used the courts to legalize gay marriage? To force non-muslim neighborhoods to integrate while keeping muslim neighborhoods ethnically homogeneous? To normalize mental conditions? They've asked for prayer rooms so their children can keep the commandments of their faith - what a horrible inconvenience in a multi-ethnic society that believes diversity is our strength.
How many muslims serve on the supreme court - or anywhere in the judiciary? Jews are less than 2% of the American population. They are more than half of the judiciary. I'd call that over-representation and be safe from charges of exaggerating. Muslims are almost 1.5% of the American population, and they have three magistrates, two county court judges and a pretty well respected arbitration consultant. I'd call that under-representation and be safe from charges of stickling for accuracy.
I think you need to rethink your litigiary arguent.
