After years and years of steady growth, the craft brew industry (of which inbev is not a part of) is starting to see stagnation in some places if not decline in others. The number of establishments in most areas has stopped increasing and the amount of employment reported has slowed to a trickle. It would seem that in most areas, we have reached the point of saturation. Craft beer (not water down lager) is a niche industry that only so many in a given population are going to support.

What was the point of the boycott?

Think real hard.

Not really.

Ever been to Montgomery, Alabama?  I have.  Ever seen archives or footage of Montgomery in the early 1960s?  I have.  Do you know blacks were still mostly sitting in the back over five years after the boycott ended?

Do you know the demands when the boycott started?  One of the demands was that black riders wanted the bus drivers to be nice to them.  Now where do you hear that safe space talk today?  Do you think you can legislate niceness?

The boycotters were way ahead of their time.  They scrapped the bus in favor of car pools, bikes, and other supportive measures.  They made uber cool decades before it was cool.

But what did they do with their new found uber and other self sufficiency?  They traded it back.  You got that right.  They went back to the very bus system, drivers, and government that despised them.

People like Booker T Washington, Farrakhan, and Malcolm X preached self-sufficiency instead of gov enslavement.  In that sense, they were great men.  These self-sufficient guys, however, get short shrift when discussed by academics.  Marxists like your drone bf Bippy would rather bestow accolades on MLK and others who get tied to the plantation.  MLK sold out "free at last" to government handouts because the gov wanted blacks to shut up.  Rosa Parks was a stupid *** tool who sold out and took the path of least resistance.

Yes really. The law requiring blacks to sit in the back of public transportation buses was changed because of the boycotts. No amount of idiot blister from you will changes that fact.

I lived in Montgomery for 20 plus years as well... from the early 70's through the mid 90's... and yes, you're still an idiot.

🤣

Dejure versus defacto. They were still sitting in the back of the bus five years later.

Public transportation had been declining for over three decades when the boycott happened.  Cars were busting out in the 1950s.  White were moving to the suburbs, driving their cars.  Crime started to rise and Montgomery became a crime ridden city.  Yes, blacks eventually got to sit in the front of the bus.  Know why?  Because the whites moved out of Montgomery and were no longer riding the bus.

Your point is moot.

Where they chose to sit after the fact is irrelevant dip ****.

The boycott got the law changed, which is what it intended to do. Like I said, despite your running around in circles, you're still wrong. The boycott was successful.

You lose... again.

The de jure was moot.  The de facto was real.  If they continued to sit in the back of the bus, then what was successful?  A piece of paper?
