These model jet turbines are just like the big ones and the semi complex start up procedure is self contained / computerized control.
@Deezer Shoove
I just had no idea that you could even GET a model jetplane. That was my first watch of one. I mean, it makes sense. I just hadn't seen it before. That one time where it came close to a guy, I guess it must have been the operator or he'd have sure as **** hit the deck!GHETTOBLASTER » 06 Dec 2023, 11:08 pm » wrote: ↑ These model jet turbines are just like the big ones and the semi complex start up procedure is self contained / computerized control.
I believe they are also limited via sensors to 200 mph or so

There is also what is called a Dynojet engine, It has no moving parts other that a reed valve that allows shots of gasoline to enter the combustion chamber. Once the mixture fires the exhaust pulse exits out the tailpipe...which creates a vacuum draw against the reed valve and the process repeats until out of fuel. Large Dynojet engines were originally used to keep orange groves from freezing. Imagine how Greta's head would explode if she saw 100s of gallons of gasoline guzzling dynojets roaring away all night .Cannonpointer » 06 Dec 2023, 11:11 pm » wrote: ↑ I just had no idea that you could even GET a model jetplane.
