That's what they've starting to say.  Could be true, or could be propaganda.  While I tend to believe what the Israelis say, their news outlets have been a bit heavy on the propaganda, including some intentional misinformation. Nothing huge.  But, the announcement of "flooding the tunnels" was clearly designed to get Hamas to flee the tunnels. I think any flooding of the tunnels has been rather limited.

I don't deny, that is possible. It could even be disinformation used to weaken the resolve of Hamas.  However, so far, Israeli news sources (discarding the puffery) have been pretty accurate. 

So, lets see with the other side says - Al Jazeera:

• "Hamas says destroyed more than 150 Israeli army vehicles."  But, this is the only photo backing their claim
• "Egyptian foreign minister says PA should govern Gaza" - is this an admission that Hamas has lost?  Why would Palestinian Authority govern Gaza if Hamas is winning?
• "Senior Hamas official says fighters waging ‘fierce battles’"  " Israeli troops that have been killed and injured is “much higher” than the figures declared by Israel." Then they beg for Israeli military action to stop, telling them the hostages, their children will not be returned to them.  “Your military’s ongoing war campaign against our people will not return your children back to you. They will not return if the aggression doesn’t stop.” - as reported from Al Jazerra.

• Hamas has mostly been destroyed.  The rest will either surrender or commit suicide by engaging Israeli Military.
• Arab nations, especially Turkey and Iran are very upset over how Hamas' actions portray Islam, and even more upset over this total defeat by Israel.
• West Bank Muslims are being pacified.
• Hezbollah has suffered huge losses, and is now looking at Lebanese who may not want them in their country any longer.
• Yemen has been shown to be very weak, and look for the Saudis to take advantage of this shortly.
• Syria has been a non-issue.  Assad's glad he wasn't involved much in this.
• Egypt gains some strength in the region.

Im not saying its impossible that you are correct on some of this.  
Its pretty early in this conflict -
and early on in wars is the highest level of the fog of war.

I know this, almost all West reporting on the Russ/Uke conflict
has been wrong.  And now we are seeing it.

I watched a video with some JOOO that has a TV show.  He said Hamas are not soldiers, they are not even terrorist...(eg) they are all headcases who just want to kill JOOOs.  And the Pali people are held hostage by them. They want them gone.

I can’t remember the source and I can’t find it, AFTER the Oct 7 attack the Pali support for Hamas skyrocketed to 73-74% from their 53% approval rate (“The poll found that 53% of Palestinians believe Hamas is “most deserving of representing and leading the Palestinian people,”) 2 years ago as cited in the article I just posted above.
 
 Make no mistake, Palis LOVE their head cases, especially after Oct 7.
