Nopes. Never took it. In fact, I actually wrote exemptions for people. They all went through.

It was much easier to just retire and tell big pharma, the government and employers to **** off!

I took a unique approach. During a visit with my cardiology team, I asked them if I should get the vaccine...based on their knowledge of my current condition, medical issues I had in the past and the current information available about the disease and medicine(s) to combat it. I trusted them to use their professional judgement based on the information at their disposal at that time...then followed their advice. FYI...after the initial booster, they stopped recommended getting anything.

 Its a shame what they did. They did blackmail lots of important workers.. nurses- cops- military etc etc. lLst goes on and on. Then the creeps fired the military and had the audacity to beg them to come back recently!

Some were blackmailed. I was not. The consequence to not getting the vax done was having to get tested every week. Looking back on it.. it was pretty tame. I simply did not want to get tested every friday. The new administration has made it clear that they will not be instituting policies such as this.

That sounds like is was an assbackwards plan to begin with.

I am not sure why they decided on Friday but the plan was if you opted out then you went to some legislative building and were tested every friday between 1 pm and 2 pm. The "punishment" was that you had to use your sick leave to do this. It was a **** show at first but apparently according to my office mates, it was a well oiled machine at the end .

No.  I was vaxed 4 times.  The first time, I had to pull some strings to get the vax. No one forced me.  I wouldn't be for forcing anyone to get it either.

My wife was getting a lot of stink eye from other employees at the hospital as it clearly showed vaccine status on mandatory name badges. This was before the mandate, no doubt she would have lost her job as waivers were impossible to get. The hospital lost some good employees. Retiring 5 years early was not the plan but we have managed to figure it out.
