Most of the Knives I see down here are of the Filet variety... I'd mentioned I had a younger Brother down in the Keys who does Spearfishing & Boat charters.... He and his buddies really like some of the Bubba Knives.. They are affordable, tough, hold an edge --- and with the enlarged nonslip handle are comfortable especially for heavy usage.. He asked me to pick him up the 9 inch tapered Flex Blade model for Xmas... I picked one up Amazon for $62...
