All right, Murdock, I'm going to throw you an on-topic bone here.  Here is one of my favorite Knife Makers - Paul Panak, of Burn Knives. 



For EDC, I like the last one.  Sleek, super-fast opening.  And, it slashes and stabs with STYLE!!!
 
 

But, do you know what my actual edc knife is?  It's a Chinese made Mustang 10350 liner lock. I bought it in a hiking store in North Carolina about 15 years ago.  Mostly stainless steel with a couple of wood inserts and a couple of abalone disks for decoration.   I've used the heck out of it.  It stays sharp and its a bit scratched up now, but works just fine.  I'm going to take it apart to clean and lube it.

I have a few nice knives, but I carry this one around - its just easy to carry and I don't care if it gets scratched.
