Do those of you who've cried "Recession!" for the better part of two years ever tire of me being right?

Neither do I.

No thoughts..copy/paste...etc...

His thoughts of his own takes the form of hiding behind a question, as always.

Many ask:

What makes you so much better at this than that gaseous Level 0.27 quimm who follows you around obsessively?

Ratiocination.

The Fed had this planned out going into an Election year. They will be very reluctant to increase rates, even if they should. They try to be neutral during election years.

I'm not quite sure what you are suggesting...

Are you?

I'm not suggesting anything.  I am simply commenting that, as we are less than 1 year away from major elections, the Fed curtails any drastic action so as it cannot be accused of trying to rig an election.

I don't think that's relevant or even true.

The Fed stated its goals.

It has met them.

They are instead hinting at a schedule of cuts over the next year.

It is both true and relevant.  You don't have to "think" it.  I know it.

Not much to be done about it.

Got to hope people forget about $5 gas and six dollar milk. Have to make them feel good about institutional investors driving home prices up to levels unapproachable by first time buyers. Raising property values so high those in their properties for decades have no choice but sell.

Let's hope they don't think about inching towards nuclear war under the dottard.

While they're overlooking "worse than Buchanan & 92 counts", surely.

Or the Warmongering Recidivist Supply Side Voting Deficit Hawks who made it all happen by enabling the crashing of the US housing market.

Actually, they are looking at their pocketbooks.

Warmongering?  Huh...no new wars under republican leadership from the last admin, no proxy wars, the middle was at some semblance of peace with workable accords in place, and then what happens?  Proxy war with russia, china acting up, and Israeli and Gaz are at each others throats.

Do you think before you post or do you just type the same tired tripe over and over?

They're now under 7%

And you're saying this great news?

How did we get there in the first place?

I bet you'd give the captain of the Titanic an award for saving 700.
And you're saying this great news?
It suggests that Joementum is such a force, even the Fed couldn't kill it...

And not once did Joe toss a hissy at The Fed...unlike when Bubble Boy threatened to fire Powell because he wouldn't help inflate Grifty's anemic economy.
How did we get there in the first place?
 This time, you tell us.
