We Need to Talk About Lab-Grown Meat (getpocket.com)
The impact our diets have on the environment. Greenhouse gas emissions, water use, deforestation—all of those bad things. A lot of the time I run into the same conclusion: Compared to other sources of protein, meat—and especially beef—has an outsized impact on all of those things. So, like I said, eat less meat. But hold on a sec. What if you could eat meat without the environmental hang-ups? Well, that’s where things get interesting. The last half-decade has seen an explosion in startups trying to brew real animal cells in bioreactors—a field called cultivated (or, less kindly, ‘lab-grown’) meat.Cultivated meat companies are really racing ahead of late. So far they’ve raised close to three billion dollars in venture capital, and this year, for the first time ever in the US, two companies were cleared to sell cultivated meat to consumers. Several firms are working on giant factories to brew their cells.
Silly thing, I'd give her $10 just to lick it.nefarious101 » 17 Dec 2023, 8:13 am » wrote: ↑ It's all good....if things go south we can always eat the neighbors
We were working on a float years ago and I was egging some friends of my son to eat a great big assed beetle for $5. Some girl I didn't really know just walked up and grabbed the beetle out of my hand, popped it in her mouth and started chewing...and crunching....everyone was standing there in horror....she ate it....people were gagging.....she won the $5 fair and square...things sure got real quiet for a while
You like the meat you eat to come from behind a zipper.walkingstick » 17 Dec 2023, 9:32 am » wrote: ↑ when eaten, lab-grown-blob-meat becomes cancer-blob. eats you.

I enjoy every last little bit of it...many times returning the bones to the broiler to singe them so that I can eat them too.
The best part of having roast beef is to soak up the blood with sour dough french bread and wolf it down with some red wine as a chaser.
I don't disagree with who has a right to live. but I hate to break this news to you SOY BOY... weak and effeminately raised sheep like you will be the first to die in any sort of a life or death contest with people like me.Punch » 17 Dec 2023, 8:11 pm » wrote: ↑ You are a sick bastard. I ate a rack of ribs last night. Mmmmmm Mmmmmm Good! Yeah, after they are smoked, I like broiling them until all the fat is rendered off and the BBQ sauce is caramelized . There's nothing better than being a carnivore gnawing on the remains of a dead animal!Punch » 16 Dec 2023, 7:22 pm » wrote: ↑
