If crime rates are "plummeting"..why has it become a routine thing to see dedicated parking spaces at suburban and rural supermarkets for police cars these days...?

The atlantic is a left wing rag, likely lying for biden. I will wager that prosecutions are down, and arrests drop when prosecutors refuse to prosecute. As to whether actual CRIME is down, I have my doubts.
