Bottom Line.  A court cannot impose a made-up penalty on a man who was never even tried for the crime he is accused of.

Who gives a **** who recommends someone for a federal judicial appointment?  Organizations do that for dem Presidents as well.  The President still has to make the appointment and the Senate still has to confirm.

Apparently, outside involvement in the process only bothers you when the President isn't a demonrat.
