ShareWASHINGTON (AP) — A Michigan man described by prosecutors as a self-professed militia leader was sentenced on Friday to more than four years in prison for attacking law enforcement officers with a stolen police baton during the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol.Matthew Thomas Krol, 65, of Linden, Michigan, assaulted at least three officers, injuring one of them, with the baton that he took from police. A prosecutor said Krol was one of the worst instigators of violence that ultimately forced officers to retreat from the mob of rioters who stormed the Capitol’s West Plaza.Videos captured Krol’s attacks on officers, including Capitol Police Sgt. Aquilino Gonell. Krol swung the stolen police baton at Gonell and struck his outstretched right hand, leaving it bloody and swollen.Krol apologized to Gonell, who was in the courtroom, before U.S. District Judge Rudolph Contreras sentenced him to four years and three months in prison. He’ll get credit for the time he has spent in jail since his February 2022 arrest.

According to The Washington Post, about 140 officers were injured in the violent siege.“I have officers who were not issued helmets prior to the attack who have sustained head injuries,” said the Capitol Police officer’s union chairman, Gus Papathanasiou, in a statement Wednesday. “One officer has two cracked ribs and two smashed spinal discs and another was stabbed with a metal fence stake, to name some of the injuries.”According to The Post, 65 D.C. police officers suffered concussions, swollen ankles and wrists, bruises, and irritated lungs from pepper spray. Officers were pushed down stairs, trampled and punched. 81 Capitol police officers were assaulted during the siege, but the extent of their injuries was not detailed in reports.

If you can't do that then at least show video of 50 of the worst beatings.
There were 100s if not 1000s of video cameras EVERYWHERE.
Show video of the ENTIRE INCIDENTS...don't forget to leave out the part where the protestors were attacked first by the cops.

Contee also said that even more D.C. police officers sustained injuries they "did not even bother to report," including scratches, bruises and eyes burned from chemical spray.

An Indiana man who allegedly used a flagpole with “TRUMP 2020” and Confederate banners to attack officers on Jan. 6 was arrested Thursday.Troy Koen was charged with assaulting, resisting, or impeding officers, destruction of government property, and obstruction of law enforcement during civil disorder, among other crimes during the Capitol attack. The Justice Department said some 140 police officers were assaulted at the Capitol on Jan. 6.
