I cannot imagine why @Vegas doubts they would do it again - other than he believes the Ukraine war is still being fought. If Russia needs to leave Ukraine and have the line respected, there are a whole bunch of ways they can pull that off.
Id love to see it.Cannonpointer » 20 Dec 2023, 12:50 pm » wrote: ↑ That depends on whether israel keeps **** around with al Assad.
I see the arab world coming together and peace breaking out between sunni and shia. Once that happens, they might not need Russia or China. They have infantry for days. All they need is AA - and Russia can supply it.

As for whether Israel will occupy Gaza - doubtful, but time will tell. As far as I'm concerned, anytime someone starts a war with your country, the defending country has the right to annihilate and exterminate its enemy, and take whatever they want from the dead f-ers.
If Israel started the war with Palestinians just peacefully minding their own business, and lost that war - I'd say the same thing about them.
I was going to ask you a couple of questions, but decided to save it for a new topic......
I saw no evidence that Israel provoked rocket attacks. Rape. Murder. Baby Murder. Or hostage taking. What do you base your claim that Israel provoked Hamas to do what it did?Vegas » 20 Dec 2023, 12:59 pm » wrote: ↑ Israel never lived peacefully among Palistinians. They provoke these rocket attacks. Yes, Hamas is scum. I hope they get blown to hell. But Israel is no victim.
Go ahead and ask your questions.

Palis had a nice life in Palestine until the West supportedVegas » 20 Dec 2023, 1:18 pm » wrote: ↑ It's not just the recent attacks. It's the policies for the past 60 years. Keep in mind that Jews and the Palis lived on that land before it was divided up after the war. For the most part, they lived peacefully together. I mean for the most part. Then the UN came in and decided to divide it up that favored the Jews. From then on, Israel has slowly been encroaching on their land. Palestine went from having 100% of their land to now only 25%. Israel has taken it illegally. Nobody does anything because America has their back.

What they agree on is the battle lines. You can see where those are on the map. Believe it or not, where the front is tells you a lot about who is winning. Like, if the battle is being fought in YOUR town? The other team is up on you bro.
They agree that Ukraine is now on the defensive. That means the lines, if dynamic, will move west. If not, they are frozen.
They agree that Ukraine is getting cut off by NATO. The weapon systems promised have been delivered - and are not being meaningfully re-upped.
They agree that EVEN IF NATO SUPPLIES F16s, it will be a meaningless gesture as it takes about a decade to integrate that platform into a military. Romania is seven years in, and making progress.
The western media is admitting, in paper of record after paper of record, that NATO does not have the ammo to keep Ukraine on offense - and if you read closely, they are admitting they lack the ammo to provide even for defense. They explain it. In the western press. Every day.
The war in Ukraine is over. It's on the Russians to decide what they will keep - which I predict is everything they have taken.
To rob, and to enforce perversion.
So then, what you're saying is there was nothing specific that caused Hamas to initiate the attack, other than a border dispute that went unresolved. Even though Israel on prior occasions offered to give the Palestinians 99% of the West Bank and 100% of Gaza in the past. There are a few Jewish settlements in the West Bank amounting to about 1% of the land there.Vegas » 20 Dec 2023, 1:18 pm » wrote: ↑ It's not just the recent attacks. Now, Israel did take a piece of land from Syria - Golan. But, that's not Palestinian land, that belonged to Syria. And, Israel did take a bunch of land belonging to Egypt when Egypt attacked Israel, but Israel gave back 100% of that land to Egypt. And, Israel did take all of the West Bank and a sizeable chunk of Jordan when that land belonged to Jordan when Jordan attacked Israel. But, Israel gave 100% of Jordan's land back to it and 99% of the Jordanian-Palestinian land back to the Palestinians, keeping about 1% of that land. So, you're saying Hamas was justified over that 1 or 2% of West Bank land? I call **** on that.
IMHO, Israel is morally justified in exterminating every last Gazan on that land and taking that land for themselves as the spoils of war. In fact, they would be justified in taking all of Yemen and Lebanon for warring with it. They don't have what it takes to hold onto that much land, but IMHO, they would be justified.
