People only look at how MANY folks are leaving cali - and they quantify it by net population gain or loss. But they never look at WHO is leaving - and who is coming. If cali has a net population loss of, say, 5000k - but in truth, 2.5 whites left and 2 million "others" showed up, the way they keep the books, no big change occurred.
But very big change DID occur. And it will matter.

I had a hard *** uncle that used to be a drill sergeant in the marines, and he later was a Captain in the Akron Fire Department. NE Asians to do the employee tech work (being “obedient, efficient robots” - as BlackVegetable referred to them)
Indians to “manage”
Juice to grift and steal with money schemes
Blacks to remind people of raysism. (And to churn dollars for retail and housing)

But I think most of these are of Eastern European background rather than the Dune-Coon variety, though some do make up their ranks --- the largest number being in Belfast... To my knowledge, there are no Minaret / call to Prayer Towers, but there's an Islamic Centre in Belfast... The Muslims there tread with caution, and on occasion where they wanted to test the boundaries with the local host population, the response came quick... The Centre was pelted with Pork products, including Pig heads... Threats of traditional Irish rompings & hidings were also delivered... There was another attempt by the Muzzies to expand in Belfast with a "Multi-Cultural" Centre ---- which was burned out of business.

That City has 2 names..... THe Nationalists called it Derry..... The Unionists call it Londonderry.....
I'm careful what to call it depending if I was in the Creggan, Bogside or Fountain Estate... I'm not from there, so I have no attachment to either... I've been treated well in both communities.

BTW: When I landed in London and told them I was from Philly...they detained me for a second screening and held me for a while. The Englanders had just stopped a shipment of weapons to the IRA from there. It is a very Nationalist supporting place.

I got to meet quite a few of the "Players" over the years on my visits --- especially when I stayed in the fiercely Nationalist South Armagh border area, and the notorious town of Crossmaglen.... It was the deadliest posting for British soldiers during "The Troubles".. Anyhow...when I was there I met a Englander who was a bartender that was a IRA member.

I asked how he could turn his back on his country and he told this is my country.

The IRA always raised a portion of their funding through illegal activities such as extortion rackets, robberies, smuggling etc... The local commanders, especially in South Armagh were a law unto themselves, who held tremendous influence & control over the local populace .... These men were who the local population considered to be the authority... And with power comes privilege, they used their positions & status within the IRA & Nationalist cause to enrich themselves... They created smuggling empires along the South Armagh border separating the North from the Republic...
When the Good Friday agreement was reached putting an end to the hostilities, these senior IRA leaders along the border became like Mafia Godfathers... They have become incredibly wealthy, and still hold influence over the locals... They have beaten, punished, killed, exiled people etc..
This was (and is) probably the most powerful & notorious of the South Armagh IRA Godfathers...... An IRA Chief of Staff, and the man responsible for the massive Arms shipments from Libya... Thomas Slab Murphy..
