According to "Fact Check"...the murder rate has only declined by one half of one percent..and some of that might have to do with the new way that records are being reported and kept.....

- Inflation surged to the highest level in over 40 years. Despite slowing their rise lately, consumer prices are up nearly 17.1% overall. Gasoline is up 50.3%.
- Average weekly earnings haven’t kept pace with prices. After adjusting for inflation, “real” weekly earnings dropped 3.9%.
- The U.S. murder rate declined by one-half of a point.

Were "Smash & Grab" robberies allowed to happen when you were a kid...?
How about car jackings and other crimes allowed to happen when high speed chases are involved..?
Were cities allowed to burn and be looted and protesters allowed to close down highways...?

The FBI has recently revised how crime data is handled so naturally there is going to be a ripple effect due to how the raw data is mined and processed.
In view of that..this report doesn't include anything that is worthy of the hysterically gay hyperbole that "bidencrimefamily" is exhibiting here.
Like Huey says...it looks like increased gun ownership hasn't resulted in an increase in murder.....

Crime trends from year to year naturally have mild fluctuations.
