And yet last week, between Sun and Fri, my local gas prices went from 2.69 to 2.99.

All I know is I hope someone breaks his stride.  You have a link?  All I know is a 30 cent increase is not something to cheer.  ANd the price is at the same spot as it was last year.  Well to be exact it is about a cent lower.

I came in this thread to discuss gas prices.  Ya know, the OP. And as it has been pointed gas prices on the national avg are only a cent off from a year ago.  What are you bragging about?

Good news for most of us.  Bad news for the green and EV crowd.  People just don't think of EVs when gas is cheap.

I'm shocked liberals are bragging about this prediction.  According the paragraph two in the link, "GasBuddy, which had a forecast for 2023 that proved to be eerily accurate, expects US gas prices will average $3.38 a gallon in the key election year of 2024."  Just so you know, the month Sleepy Joe took office, the average was $2.334 a gallon.

I guess he didn't read his article.  He is celebrating the fact that national avg is going to increase 25 cents from where it is TODAY.  And will be over a dollar more than the week before he took office.

I was paying $1.89 under President Trump. If Xiden can beat that price, I'll think about voting for him in 2028 over Don Jr.
