Like I tell these idiots it's the economy, stupid.

And for the average American voter that means rent/mortgage, groceries, gas, and home energy bills.  The dems are not doing well at all with that.

When ever an agenda like electric powered cars has to be forced upon the public...what form of government is usually associated with carrying out that sort of tactic...?

Yup.  But there are a couple posters here, one that we curb stomp often, that will use the excuse that this is democracy because the elected officials, and those who voted for them, know what is best for us little people.  

I do not want an EV.  The cost, the maintenance, the cost to equip my garage, the lack of charging stations, and the inconvenience.

The charging spaces are situated the closest to the store and I assume the charge rate is the highest one possible.

I live in southeast VA.  Suffolk.  In the Hampton roads area.  I personally have never seen one.  I also drive to FL or AL often, and getting of the 95,85, 20, 26 or 64 I have never seen one.

I have also driven to Dayton, Ohio on business trips, basically 64 thru the mountains of VA and WV.  Never saw one then, either.  Once in Charleston you turn north unto a new highway.  Gas stations are sparse, never mind charging stations.

But assuming you aren't, maybe if you posted the annual standard deviation of gasoline prices, we might have a better idea..

No Biden gave them.the leases giving more leases than Trump did. The oil leases Biden gave them was better for producing oil. So actually it was the leases. Which set a record of leases I believe. Under Trump oil companies were in the red losing billions each year. Now they are making record profits.

Gasoline prices have seasonal, and macro event, volatility.

You can't compare a daily, or average monthly price to an annual one because volatility compounds with time.

But the reason that Cali gas prices are so high is because of refineries. Capacity and Cali policy won't let them open any more refineries.

That's nice but the discussion is the abysmal 12 cent drop in oil in projected gas prices next year that is over a dollar more than when he took office.  

And remember.  Gas prices are among the Carville dogma, it is the economy, stupid.  Mortgage/rent, groceries, gas, home energy bill, and paycheck.
