Here's the problem with your argument...

If you think a Sec of State of a state can remove candidates from a ballot then it changes everything.

A republican can say Joe Biden committed treason by getting $$ from China through his son.
Or he's not protecting our southern border so he's working against the safety of the American people....

A republican can remove Biden from the ballot.
Has Biden been charged and convicted of a crime?

            Ms. Bellows doesn't have the authority to interpret or enforce the 14th amendment on the behalf of her State.....  She acted unilaterally, and I can only conclude it was because the Maine Courts told her they would not be doing so, because they understood they lacked the legal basis to remove Trump from the Ballot and Election.

amendment 14 also includes rebellion which includes rioting over government functions.

The 14th Amendment of the Constitution includes a clause that prohibits anyone who has “engaged in insurrection or rebellion” against the U.S. government from holding elected office if they had previously taken an oath “to support the Constitution of the United States
