In their defense they believe in other things that aren't there.
Election fraud and deep state are 2 prime examples.

We have never been a democracy. Before we became an empire and then a failed state, we were a republic.

I got into a discussion with a pub and they said we are a republic. I told him we are a democratic republic. And he argued that's not true. I told him China and North Korea are also republics.

We were INTENDED to be a democratic republic. We are not one - have not been one in many years.

Among other things, the tax scheme. The feds take the most - giving the feds the most control. The farther away the decision makers, the less democratic the decisions. Your local leaders live next door and are equally affected by the decisions they make. They are quite easy to recall or vote out. This makes them FAR more accountable yo voters than a president or a senator.

The original intent was for local government to take the lion's share of taxes. Next would be the states, and finally the federal government. The federal government SHOULD operate on about the five largest states' combined budgets, at most. Instead, it spends triple all fifty combined. That kind of juggernaut entirely defeats any pretense of democracy.

Think about it. San Francisco wants different things than Pascagoula. When both are answering to the same Borg, someone has to lose. There is no self-rule, no democracy. 

The entire idea of democracy supposes that your vote counts. If the ENTIRE NATION is voting on everything, Lumberton could be put out of business by people they never met, just because they have a prejudice against lumber. People in Arizona and Nevada and Ohio should have no say whatsoever in how California manages its forests. Californians should have no say in how Louisiana manages its shrimping fleet. And the annual harvest of maple syrup should be managed by Vermonters - not Kentuckians. 

If we had a democracy, our votes would matter. If any city in America tried to live by their residents' wishes, the feds would put a boot on their necks. Take the tranny issue. I can promise you that the folks in Luckenbach, TX do not want to let boys play girls' sports or go into their toilets and showers. But the big, far-removed, utterly undemocratic boot of the feds says they must - and all because of ONE PRESIDENTIAL EDICT. Not a law. Not a vote. Not a measure. Not a bill. Not a court case. Just ONE PRESIDENTIAL EDICT.

How the **** are you gonna call that a democracy?

Likewise, the people of California voted AGAINST gay marriage. But the courts shoved it down their throats. If the thing the people vote against is made law by the edict of a court, that is not democracy.

That's been a fight as far back as Thomas Jefferson the federalist fought about that back in his day. I like the way you think.

Yes, but it used to be a balancing act. The fight occurred in the margins. The fight is OVER, now. We are an empire - neither a democracy nor a republic. 

All empires fail - and ours shows every sign of waning. Indeed, we are down to the "Clown-show Executive" - a sure precursor to failure. Look at the clowns we have had in the oval this century. Little shrub, the gay halfrican, the orange menace, and now the dottering pedophile. It's over, folks.

The question is whether the republic will survive the collapse of empire - as england did, as russia did. My money is against it, and I'm giving odds. We have no polity left, no culture left - we are not a nation. This country is going to break apart for sure. A dozen different despots will desecrate these dominions from dallas to des moines. Dollar says my deliberations are dead-on, dummy.

Well stated...we are well over the historical average of a gubment's tenure...cracks are everywhere and the headwinds are unchecked...

I believe this empire will go out with a bang heard round the world. The sinking of the sixth fleet would do it. 

But it might be with a whimper - the end of the petro dollar and the subsequent inability to fund any more scores.

The American empire has been said to be at its end many times. The Civil War. The great depression. It's been in worse shape before.

The civil war was legendary to europeans. It ended any thinking on the european mainland about **** with us. It certainly threatened to break up the union - but not to destroy the empire, as the empire did not exist. Once the federal tranny state cannot bully anyone else into helping it take scores, it's going to have to settle down and start paying the vig from its OWN budget. 

That's gonna be interesting. 

If it breaks into little tyrant states, each little tyrant is going to have to squeeze the people who followed him for the money to pay the shysters for LETTING him be the tyrant of that zone.

The rich will do just fine. Have been for years. Now the lower classes might start an uprising In my veiw. Most people don't follow politics as closely as us. Things are not as bad as the great depression and nobody is taking away slaves. So I'm betting America will be doing just fine. Records are being set.

Oh the downfall of America is not on the doorstep fellas. No matter how much you wish it to be true. 

Economy is humming. Consumer confidence hit a record bump. Things are looking good in America.
