That's your opinion.  The Constitution tells us who we can and cannot vote for.  As much as you might want to, you cannot vote for someone who was not born in the US.  You cannot vote for someone who has not reached the age of 35.  And you cannot vote for someone who led an insurrection.  There are plenty of other folks who you CAN vote for... pick one of them.

Then we can add to this that Jack Smith NEVER brought an insurrection charge under US Code either, so there is OBVIOUSLY no crime committed that could be call an "Insurrection" under that Statute. SURELY he would be trying to put Trump away for another 10 years!!

Anyone who watched TV on 1/6/21 saw an angry mob disrupt the scheduled Constitutional process leading to the peaceful transfer of power.  While the term "insurrection" is not explicitly defined by federal law, courts and legal scholars generally interpret it as a violent uprising or organized resistance against the government or its regulations.  Insurrection often involves acts intended to overthrow, disrupt, or challenge the authority of the United States or impede the enforcement of federal laws.   That is exactly what the MAGA mob was trying to do... they wanted to disrupt the certification of the results of the Electoral College... and did, in fact, stave that certification off for several hours.
