Interesting that why do you suppose anyone would say that? I mean when the riot started Trump wasn't even finished with his speech. The invocation of the Electoral Count Act had just been started and the requirements met. No one outside knew exactly what was going on. In fact the only thing I can think of that anyone would be pissed at Pence about is that he put it to a vote after the riot was over. So why do you suppose that comment was made by anyone on Trumps side?

II understand how congress works.  There might have been some folks unhappy with the electoral college results, but they did not have the votes to prevail.  The Congress voted and certified the results.  fact
