I've been saying for over a decade now that Harvard is a joke-league college. Nothing but dogma is being taught there.  The kids are all mindless snowflakes who can't think for themselves.  And the brofessors at Harvard are hard-core Marxists.

Even MIT is watered down ****.  Yes, you can still get a real degree in a real major from MIT if your smart enough to get in.  However, they have loads of **** majors and classes for Wealthy ****, Africans, *** and Bull Dykes:

Sure, many curious people have "interests" in a lot of things.  We take it upon ourselves to read and study such things on our own time and even call them "hobbies".

I expect Universities and Colleges to teach young minds those things which cannot be taught to most people merely from reading books or watching youtube videos. MIT is supposed to be the nation's premier University for advanced technology.  Cutting-edge, scary geeky ****.  Stuff the CIA and Defense contractors would give their right testicles to get a hold of.  MIT is NOT a place for indulging idiots in discussions of literature, basically books they can read on their own and ponder about in their minds while fornicating their girlfriends.

Come, now. Shakespeare is very much worthy of keeping alive - but it cannot be done without scholarship. Having Shakespeare explicated by a professor in a calibrated and contextualized format is the only **** way we keep that genius firmly rooted. And it matters. It informs our cinema - the art form of today's masses. We would be poorer without it. We will become an idiocracy if we ONLY value money and we ONLY seek the degrees that guarantee the highest salaries. Why not simply teach those things in trade schools, if broader education doesn't matter?

We need archaeologists and literature professors along WITH engineers, architects, and geeks. It is not an either/or proposition.

Shakespeare is perhaps worthy of being taught as part of only one class, unless the institution is a theatrical college.  His works are worthless as a field of study where a modern youth devotes 4 years seeking a degree in it.

I would argue that Shakespeare is only marginally relevant in today's world. All of his plays need to be explained to be appreciated, and even then most youth will just go mehhhhh.  That wasn't so at the time he was alive.  And, what this means that much of what he says is simply archaic, irrelevant, and impertinent.  An ordinary 18 year old today will have better dick and ****** jokes than what Shakespeare came up with, and even I could write a story where all the idiots riding the "special bus" die in the end.
