I'm still curious as to what you gleaned from this website during your 15 month long lurking session that you never saw coming when you decided to go live?usa360 » 03 Jan 2024, 5:11 pm » wrote: ↑ Engaging in conversation and open discussions is always good, but there are boundaries. Disseminating misinformation, endorsing conspiracies, or engaging in disrespectful behavior or flat out being obnoxious and slanderous? Not my preference. It's not an issue of free speech; it's akin to verbal assault and suggests a dearth of maturity and education. Besides the US Constitution was not created to grant abusive bully's the right to carry on being hateful and slanderous. I won't entertain such discourse. I respect the people I am conversing with too much to ever treat them in such an abusive and unethical manner.
Just to clarify, when I used "patient" earlier, I intended it as an adjective, not a noun. Kudos to those who responded with intellect and kindness – much appreciated. Allow me to share a brief account: During my time delving into ad illustration in Chicago, my cheap, rundown tiny apartment was adjacent to the L train. Holding a conversation amidst the train passing every few minutes proved challenging at best. Yet, over time, I adeptly tuned it out, treating it as mere background noise. This forum shares a semblance to that. I'll prioritize meaningful conversations, relegating the rest to background hum.
Hats off to the insightful responders. Pleasure meeting you all, and I'm eager for more enriching discussions in the future. Cheers!

That will clear this room, in a heartbeat.
I have been trying to figure out how to write why I pulled a disappearing act without going into too much detail. But after thinking it through, I figured, "What the hell, just tell it like it is," and so be it. Shortly after joining this social forum and beginning a news journal, our son died. My wife and I were devastated and heartbroken, and I just didn't feel like doing anything online or off for a very long time. We pulled through, my wife and I leaning heavily on one another at times, and we also had the challenge of now caring for our granddaughter, who our son raised by himself. His wife left him, and they divorced when our granddaughter was not quite a year old. Anyway, it has been a little while, and things are starting to move along better, but we still are very sad at times. But everyone we have talked to says it really never goes away, and besides, I am not sure I want it to. I never want to forget the love we have for our beautiful son. So, now you know our story. Sorry for any confusion, and I should have spoken up right off the bat, and I apologize for that lack of transparency. I will try and get that news journal going again now. Anyway, talk at ya later and thanks for asking.RedheadedStranger » 03 Jan 2024, 5:55 pm » wrote: ↑ I'm still curious as to what you gleaned from this website during your 15 month long lurking session that you never saw coming when you decided to go live?

The bigger question is... what did you do with Lincoln Nebraska?

Here is some instinctive free advice. Genetics has always eternally separated the numbers of humans occupying time as evolving here since conceived. Your granddaughter is 50% the DNA of your son, 25% each of you and your wife while at the same time your son and granddaughter are 100% uniquely lived and alive.usa360 » 03 Jan 2024, 6:27 pm » wrote: ↑ I have been trying to figure out how to write why I pulled a disappearing act without going into too much detail.

Well, you asked. And, he responded. No reason to think he wasn't being truthful, as I read it. I might have just said "due to other pressing matters", but so be it.
That's one of a couple of possibilities for sure.

The best I can tell there are three serial soks on this forum... and by that I'm referring to a poster that is constantly creating new accounts and screen names after looking stupid and getting stomped under their old names.
Bruce was Justfuchinwitcha, and some of the same patterns do match as well on this one... he also went by the name Chance on .org before Margaret and claimed to be writing a thesis, so there is that too... so it certainly could be.
I really think this usa360 is another one of Lincoln Nebraska's many other sok accounts though.
The lag between the account's creation and the emergence on the forum is the biggest tell for me. This guy literally has dozens if not hundreds of accounts created that he's never used before just sitting in the wings here. He did the same thing at .org
He's also claimed to have soks on all sides of the political spectrum and has befriended members under one name, while fighting with the same members under another name. I'm sure he's even argued with himself from time to time as well.
I'm not sure if his motives, but the guy is definitely a loon.
He kinda reminds me of Cannonpointer.
There is a strong possibility that they share the same bath towels.RebelGator » 04 Jan 2024, 10:45 am » wrote: ↑ I'm thinking Cannon and Sumelo are the same poster.....though they could be lovers the way they fellate each other.
Sorry to hear about your loss, but in the obviously fragile state you currently reside in since dealing with such a tragedy, my honest opinion is that this is not the forum for you at this time. However, I think you would find that those submitting obvious misinformation are quickly dealt with here by the members, not by any policing, and most often in not very pleasant language. It's called their freedom to disagree with you in the manner THEY seem fit, not you.usa360 » 03 Jan 2024, 6:27 pm » wrote: ↑ I have been trying to figure out how to write why I pulled a disappearing act without going into too much detail. CannonPointer: "Yes, it's called capitalism, and it is governing us as a marketplace. You will notice that countries have borders, and we do not. That is because we are not a country - we are a SHAM of a country whose "elected" leaders serve at the pleasure of the oligarchs: a corporatocracy. And we are a marketplace - with a logo that looks a lot like our old flag, back when we were a nation. On 9'11, they put some handles on the damned thing and made it look like a shopping bag. Yes, the knee jerk right HATES the fairness doctrine - ape trained to do so by the very forces of consolidation that persecute their lives and eat out their polity.
But among the many fine things the orange buffoon accomplished is that he got the conjobs to peek around the corporate tautology to which they had thither-to been enslaved and at least dare to start questioning it. They got a little practice with the questioning muscle. It's still not nearly as strong as the pontificating muscle - but it's been isolated and identified. That's a start. We can build from there. They know the difference between the sexes - unless they watch fixed noise. Then they think bruce jenner is a gal.

There is nothing fair about simple compounding interest, ancestral positions, and perpetual balancing out of incoming details creating results never duplicating total sum achieved here now, on the universal scale again.Harvey Mushman » 04 Jan 2024, 12:26 pm » wrote: ↑ CannonPointer: "Yes, it's called capitalism, and it is governing us as a marketplace. Except to say that trade agreements such as NAFTA rather than undocumented immigration are what have negated America's sovereignty, I agree with CannonPointer's assessment. Indeed, Republican and Democratic politicians serve capitalists' interests rather than workers. Our flag looks much like the East India Company's flag because the American flag was modeled after the East India Company's. And, yes, George W. Bush's "keep shopping" comment on 09.12.01 was indicative of the globalized and imperialist nature of America's capitalist system of exploitation.

Interestingly, CannonPointer understands that the decimation of the Fairness Doctrine served corporate interests while simultaneously supporting Trump's presidency. Like all presidents, Trump served corporate interests over that of workers. His massive and socially destructive tax cuts for the capitalist class and its corporations, his anti-labor practices, and his corporation-serving anti-environmental policies made his administration a quintessential capitalist-class serving entity. I wonder if CannonPointer would care to unpack his seemingly contradictory stance concerning Trump.
