I posted 2 verses. thar is my basis. the second one is more important. you obviously have doubts. that is normal. I had doubts too but I had an experience that erased all doubts of life beyond this.

Religion [Fear of God / Golden Rule] was the common bond that members of the most cohesive societies shared.
Science had nothing to do with getting people to obey the laws that made newly formed societies function well....but religion did.
