The recovery took so long because that recession he caused was so deep!  It's a lot easier to show minimal improvement when the economy crashed as badly as it did.  And it remains the longest expansion because like you, the recovery was so **** slow that it took until August of 2012, AFTER MORE THAN 3 **** YEARS OF OBAMA to get the market back to the level it was at under GW Bush. And it remains the longest time it took to recover from a recession in history.

Those too are the facts which you'd LOVE to ignore after you spent so much time sucking Obama's and Michele's dick!

You guys are BOTH wrong. 

The level the market was at under bush was artificial. It was all based on fake paper underwritten by fannie mae and freddie mac. People who could not explain "derivatives" (no one ever could and no one can today - they're just felonies that are too complex to prosecute) were tossing them around like confetti at no personal risk and at great profit (and utterly fake GDP). 

When all that fake money was pocketed by wall street insiders and replaced by the treasury, it took three years of teat sucking (or, "quantitative easing") by wall street to get that much MORE fake money into the economy. 

Your complaint is that obama didn't let wall street suck the teat even faster than he did, as far as I can tell. There was no LEGITIMATE recovery at all - just credit card recovery at zero interest rates. 

Both the start point of the "recovery" - Bush's artificial numbers - and the end point - Obama's artificial numbers - were nothing but a giant scam on the unborn.

So much like Eggplant, you prefer to deny that Obama had any responsibility for neither the depth of the recession or in dragging the country through the longest recovery in history.  And despite your claim, I NEVER complained that Obama held back Wall Street to the detriment of the economy.  All I'm stating is precisely how Obama's campaign in '08 included his promises that I knew would severely damage both my business and the entire US economy.  To refresh your memory, those promises he made were to raise taxes particularly on businesses, massively increase regulations on banks and other businesses, and waste hundreds of billions promoting his plan for universal healthcare, plunge us even deeper into the war in Afghanistan, close Guantanamo, repealing the Bush tax cuts, promising to give citizenship to millions of illegals, force car manufacturers to increase gas mileage (and of course their cost), and waste hundreds of billions more by throwing them at the hoax of "global warming" with his idiotic "cap and trade" scheme which thankfully failed.

But according to you, all those actions had no effect on jobs and the economy, huh?  If you hold that belief, then you're as blind and dumb as Eggplant is.

No doubt the banking crisis caused great damage to the overall economy, but personally in my business it had ZERO impact as we did not have any debt, nor did we have any need to borrow money at that time.  But the products I manufactured in my factory had a high percentage of sales to the wealthy, and Obama's promises and his haughty conversation with Joe the Plumber that he planned to "spread their wealth around" convinced me that his socialism would be devastating to the economy and I was quickly proven right.

The man had to pay his dues. Bush was allowed a second term because he gave the bankers two wars. Obama got his second term through troop surges and criminally attacking Syria.

What I said was that his campaign promises and his actions immediately upon winning the election caused tens of thousands of business owners like myself to make major adjustments within my company because we knew the damage he was going to cause.  THAT is what made a typical, economic downturn into the Great Recession.

And my points, in which the comprehension clearly went over your head, was that it was easy for Obama to show meager improvements in the economy after driving it down so far with his actions and idiotic policies.  By digging us into a hole as deep as he did, it was inevitable that the country would slowly reverse that damage and begin to improve, albeit at the slowest rate of growth in history.  But it took his entire first term to get back to the same numbers where the economy was in 2007.  I would think even a dolt like you would have been able to understand that, but you were too busy genuflecting before Obama for no other reason than because he was the first half-black to win the presidency.
