It is a net economic benefit, and I can.

But it is pointless to try to do so to someone who cannot be made to understand the difference between "fiscal" and "economic" cost.

You just did.  The lawn care guy had a legit reason, religious prosecution.  These illegals are being prosecuted for religious reason, political reasons, or any other reason on that short list.

The MAGA crowd whines about illegal immigration but they'd **** their pants if they had to pay at the grocery store for vegetables picked by US citizens.

Agri-business, poultry processing, lawn care, the restaurant industry, general contracting, just to name a few sectors,  ALL depend on cheap immigrant labor, and the American public is addicted to the relatively cheap prices such labor allows them to be charged.

This is not a cause - it is an effect.

But not of democrat policies. Before Clinton, the democrats were firmly in the corner of the american worker. It is the repukes that sold us out - and are now complaining about what they voted for.

Many of them were broken out of their tautology by trump - one of the finest things the orange menace ever accomplished. 

If the democrats had REMAINED the occupy wall street party, instead of the occupied BY wall street party, they and the trumpers would be getting up to some excellent and timely populism right now. 

And never forget, folks: the only president to ever issue an amnesty for illegals was ronnie raygun.
