Swift was groomed for stardom by her wealthy parents from an early age. I think her Dad was a successful Investment broker for Merrill Lynch (and still is) and her Mom used to manage a hedge fund or something another.
They used their money and influence to buy their daughter's way into the music industry starting at about age 9 and moved to Nashville specifically for her career when she was 14.
It sounds like Ms Swift never had much say in the matter, which is pretty sad when you think about it.
Her life has never been "normal", and never will be.

Good for Swift.... I still don't know any of her songs or opinions on anything --- same as Britney Spears, Lady Ga Ga or Miley Cyrus... .. So I'll have to file that under who cares...

Who cares the right wing cares alot. She is registering voters and has an army of girls going to vote against Trump.
