I know. I traveled from here to Florida once. After I went thru the country- the orange groves. The building in cities were kind of interesting and colorful and cute?. I have no idea what they are now.
In my tiny town- nothing but junk. The down town is a ghost town. I've watched some very brave people try to start up- only to fail in a few months
but up the road- there's two giant buildings.... worth millions... for a hockey arena.. for high school sports... wtf?
But when they offer free food-  In the parking lot - It's - jammed packed......
Hey what's going on there -as we drive by in our junker car.... and all the new suv's lining up for eats? 
this country is done!

I think there are some pretty sharp people here.
Not all opinions are wrong because they don't validate my own.
I'm a couple clicks higher on the IQ chart than to believe that.
Some folks are just so wedded to their ideas/beliefs that there is ONLY their way.

Everything else is out of their range.
Unless, of course, they need some particle of truth to help cement their view.
Then, a 200 year old fact is important.
