Not true at all and I swear on cockpointers mom this is true story.  In Philly...I had a Muslim friend from Sudan who worked for a Jew....as were all his employees who worked at his Center City parking lots.  The JOOO hired them because they always came to work, sent a friend if thry couldn't make it and never complained.  (The Muzzis were all from the same posse)

At Christmas they all got a Christmas Bonus....that was it was CALLLED...neither muzzis or JOOO....gift.   So they didn't have to split hairs.

The JOOO / Muzzis were Americanized as much as possible and remained faithful to thier religions (they celebrated 4th July-no pork tho) and a Christmas bonus is a tradition.  So they were allowed to accept / give it.
