Pretending to believe that, I would say, "Be sure to thank the survivors for me." It would not change my position.

As it happens, I see ISIS as a U,S,/Israeli/Saudi proxy, and I do not believe that we had any side mission to destroy ISIS. As to our PRIMARY mission, that was unequivocally unlawful Regime Change.

ISIS was fighting Assad, by the way.  :die:

Don't get me wrong - I DO believe the Kurds were in fact fighting our proxy. But their primary mission was against the Syrian government. What they did against ISIS was off the reservation. But ISIS had been raping their women and drinking their wine, so once they got some guns it was go time.

  • President Donald Trump's decision to withdraw US forces from northeast Syria has pushed formerly US-allied Kurdish forces into the arms of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and Russia.
Gosh. They stopped trying to overthrow their president. What a terrible thing to have happen.

I listened. But you have GOT to know that rubio is an empty suit. We all saw the debates. You saw chris crisco utterly destroy the empty suit.

Rubio's claim that the Turks could invoke art. 5 against a non-state actor is the stupidest thing I have ever heard, You should be embarrassed. It's also QUITE silly to pretend for a moment that Turkey's sovereignty could be threatened by non-state actors. The Kurds don't have FACTORIES. Factories are where guns and bullets come from. Guns and bullets are extremely important to soldiers. So are uniforms and jets and helicopters - which are also made in factories.

Rubio is right about one thing: We ARE an unreliable ally. We always have been. Ask the south vietnamese. Ask the folks who fell from our retreating aircraft in Afghanistan. No one should trust the united states of america.  He is right about another thing, too. Iran and Russia WERE the winners. But not because we walked away. Because we were IN THE WRONG, and the MIC FAILED.

The MIC's failure was not Trump's doing. It was the MIC's doing, since they wanted to sell tanks to the U.S. and small arms to the entire planet, instead of doing the hard work of building a 21st century American military. THEY decided - through rubio and others like him - what our military would purchase. The Russians beat us in the air with their hyper-sonics. And they beat us on the ground by merely being there - as we NEVER had an invasion force, for optics, and the Russians were INVITED in whatever numbers they cared to respond.

And AGAIN, I am convinced on excellent evidence that ISIS is a U.S. proxy. I know for a FACT, from widespread MSM reports, that Obama "accidentally" supplied them twice. I know for a fact that they are an outgrowth of a cia asset called al qaeda. I know for a fact that no group of bandits can stand against the entire **** world without a state intelligence agency providing them with banking, behind the lines safety, intel, materiel, armaments, and MONEY. You don't pay your troops, you don't keep troops - religious hooey notwithstanding. I know for a fact - in this case, from U.S. military sources - that we had a forward operating base in Lebanon to train rebels against Syria. That was ISIS.

ISIS and the U.S./Israeli/Saudi alliance were fighting the same enemy. Both the Times of Israel and Haaretz reported Israeli troops providing triage and resupply for ISIS fighters in Syria. ISIS has never spoken a word or taken an action against Israel. Not once, not one. And they were patched up BY Israel. They are manifestly a proxy of our middle eastern alliance - which is why you are told to retardedly believe a gang of thugs can stand against multiple armies, without a state, without productive capacity, without their own arms industry or a state intelligence agency.

Your arguments are provided by MIC mouthpieces like Rubio. Mine are against the MIC's narratives and based on actual study. And here is what you WILL NOT DO.

You will not tell me who is supplying and supporting ISIS. And when you cannot name a terrorist group's sponsor, it's because your press is not telling you who that sponsor is

America's loss in Syria had nothing to do with Trump standing 50 men down instead of playing chicken with their lives - which the same people yelling about him leaving would have called him a moron for doing, had Erdogan carried through on his promise to roll through them..

Tell ya what. Give me the name of the country backing ISIS, or just acknowledge - not to me, but to yourself - that you don't have any idea what is really going on. Because if you can be convinced that ISIS was a stand-alone, you really have no understanding of the world in which you live. Image

For years, weapons of war have been freely flowing into Iraq. Slack controls over Iraqi military stockpiles and endemic corruption by successive Iraqi governments have added to the problem.

When Islamic State (IS) took control of these areas, these weapons were theirs for the taking. These weapons, manufactured at least 25 countries, are now in the hands of ISIS and being used to commit horrific abuses, killings, rape, torture and abduction – and forced thousands to flee their homes.

‘Decades of free-flowing arms into Iraq meant that when IS took control of these areas, they were like children in a sweetshop.

‘The fact that countries including the UK have ended up inadvertently arming IS, should give us pause over current weapons deals.’

Despite U.S. and international efforts to control the spread of military equipment, the U.S. has a long history of leaving weapons behind and questionable arms transfers. As a result, U.S. weapons ended up in the arsenals of adversaries in Iraq and Syria, as well as Afghanistan, even before the U.S. pulled out completely.

As a result of both abandonment and poor tracking, the Islamic State group, the Taliban and other militant groups managed to acquire American-supplied anti-armor weapons, tanks, drones and massive numbers of small arms, like rifles, and light weapons, such as machine guns and basic rockets.

The U.S. has sold Iraq rifles, ammunition, Hellfire missiles, aircraft, and reconnaissance drones in an effort to help the country's military to defend against attacks by terrorists. Now, the items have ended up in the possession of the terrorists.

Usama Nujaifi, speaker of Iraq's parliament, condemned the Army for deserting the city and leaving behind all of the equipment, including armored vehicles.

Honesty sustains serenity of understanding how, why, which, what, where, when, whom one is whole adapting in space sharing time in series parallel space socially chasing power, wealth, fame, employing mayhem, madness, misery upon anyone not taking sides believing eternity is beyond the moment here.

Stop colonizing around false interpretations of how genetics doesn't limit ancestors to adapting to space only timed apart now. Turkey’s incursion into northern Syria "has scrambled the entire northeast, undercut our efforts against ISIS, and brought in the Russians and Syrian regime forces in a way that’s really tragic for everyone involved,” Jeffrey said.He acknowledged that President Donald Trump was aware the decision to pull U.S. troops from northeastern Syria would mean the U.S. “would have less ability” to work with the SDF against the remnants of ISIS. He later said he was heartened by Trump’s decision not to withdraw all troops.“We obviously had troops there, the mission was defeating ISIS, so if you remove those troops before that mission is complete, you have a problem―and we do have a problem right now,” Jeffrey said. “We are working our way through it right now, we are looking at various options for working with the SDF, what kind of military coalition presence will be in the northeast.
