These events happen all over the world every winter.  The record cold in Texas in 2021 when
just in Austin the temp was below 18F for 6 straight days left 250,000 without power.

Im pretty sure in Siberia's largest city, Novosibirsk, where the current temp is -17F
they can handle almost anything.

We have a power outage every time some recently transplanted Libtard from Seattle flies off the road and wipes out a power pole on the main road...   
This used to happen only once every year or two and now it happens about 3 or 4 times every year. 
If BCF had ANY critical thinking skills at all.............he would have questioned the veracity of what he was posting, but.....

 Years ago I worked at a hydro electric powerhouse  near Mt Ranier Washington. 
Inside the control room was an entire wall full of old fashioned electro-mechanical relays that dated back to the early 1900's that still worked just fine..almost always.
One afternoon before quitting time I was in the control room sweeping the floor and accidentally bumped one of the relays with my broom. 
It caused the relay I bumped to "chatter" and all the lights in the entire powerhouse flickered..!.
I asked the Control Room Engineer what the Hell just happened..?
He said not to worry..that I had only caused a "momentary power blip" to just a FEW THOUSAND  local Puget Power customers or so.
