This is just electioneering by the right wing before an election. 

They don't really want to fix the problem.

The latest SCOTUS ruling on what is happening in Texas DID NOT say the state could not put up more wire and it DID NOT say they have to give federal authorities access to that park.  It only said federal agents could cut the wire while the actual court case makes it's way through the system.  The final ruling on the real case has not been made.

In October of last year, Texas sued the federal government after Border Patrol agents cut some of the wire strung along the Rio Grande, arguing the Department of Homeland Security destroyed the state’s property and interfered in Texas’ border security efforts.

The 5-4 order from the Supreme Court vacated a previous injunction from the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals that prevented Border Patrol agents from cutting the concertina wire.

And your link confirms what I posted...thank you.  Maybe you should read your own link. The ruling gives federal agents access to the border (Shelby Park IS NOT on the border) and allows them to cut the wire.  Nowhere does it restrict Texas from putting up more wire.

The feral government is NOT enforcing border security!!!  And the US Constitution says that states have the right to defend themselves in the absence of that enforcement and are ACTUALLY INVADED, OR IN SUCH IMMENENT DANGER AS WILL NOT ADMIT OF DELAY.  That is the case at the border!!! 
 I hope braindead biden's puppet masters keep pulling his strings and pushing this issue.  It will not end well for him or the feral government.
