The SC is NOT the "law of the land"!!!  The US Constitution is!!!  And Article 1 Section 10 Clause 3 says that Texas has the right to defend itself from the invasion that is taking place across its border in the absence of feral enforcement!!!

Beside, the Supreme Court did not rule that it was illegal for the State of Texas to put barriers along the Rio Grande. They just ruled that the federal government is allowed to remove those barriers.  Question is---What will braindead biden and his apparatchiks do about it? LOL!!!Anyone who says Texas is doing something illegal is incorrect.

If it comes to a stand off, YES the Texas NG will stand it groud.

I have a close friend that works for the State of Texas at a Texas National guard training center, engineering and not combat though.  He says that the rank and file he comes in contact with are ALL in favor of Texas (Abbott)securing the border and will not go against their fellow Texans, period.  After all their families live, work and kids go to school in this area, also.

Are you saying the rank and file are the feds?   What agency would the feds be with?  I can see some hand to hand action.  Hopefully it doesn’t escalate to weapons being fired

Yes, the rank and file are Americans that will not obey any orders to engage in combat with fellow Americans.  The Texas NG has F-16 fighter jets too!!!
