Republicans are going to walk away from border deal. Biden needs to beat them over the head with it.

The Senate took three months to craft another atrocious immigration bill, one that doesn’t complete the border wall, empower Border Patrol and ICE to target and deport criminal aliens and curb the flow of illegal immigrants flooding the border. This agreement shows precisely why bipartisanship isn’t always good for the country. Also, given Biden’s unserious attitude toward securing our borders, why make a deal with this man on this issue?

It ingeniously keeps the portions Democrats need to make their amnesty push in the long run, especially that tidbit about kids of H-1B visa holders having essentially permanent green card status after they turn 21. It’s just another talking point to put all these people on a pathway to citizenship, which now includes the unvetted Afghan refugees we scooped up recklessly when Biden let Afghanistan gall to the Taliban.

Kill this bill.

A “border security bill” that opens with Ukraine funding is not a bill for border security bill. It’s a bill for Ukraine funding. Label accordingly.

You're in a very small minority, dickhead.
Just watch that proven when the polls come out about whether the American people support such a **** bill!

Why don't you just admit you're OK if we continue letting in 5000 illegals a day, as that bill would permit?
Just as you're OK with the billions we're already spending taxpayer money to feed, house, clothe, educate, and give them free healthcare, a free smartphone, and thousands of dollars in cash.

But you're afraid to admit that, aren't you?

Silly me, I thought bills were hashed out on the Senate floor amongst the 100 senators in debate; not put together in back room deals between the two party leaders and then spoon fed to our "elected representatives". They used to at least give us a show at the Kabuki Theater, now we only get the comedy team's tired old jokes before they serve the warmed-over slop.

Side Bar: I wonder if during their confabs Schumer had to use a cattle prod to stun McConnell out of his freezes?

"In short, Ukraine gets a bunch of cash, some insanely weak border enforcement provisions are put in place that expire after three years, and Biden gets the authority to override them immediately anyway. Does that sound like something Republicans should be signing onto, especially in an election year? This nonsense is DOA, and the House should rip it apart and shove it back in the face of the Senate."

I would like to see Congress pass funding legislation for Ukraine and Israel...tied to securing the border. Set 5 different benchmarks that must be met (whatever they want them to be). When #1 is met, 20% of the funding amount to those countries is released...two months later, if #1 is still being met and #2 has been met, another 20% of the funding amount is released...two months later, if #1 and #2 are still being met and #3 is met, another 20 percent is release...etc.

If dems (including Biden) want funding for Ukraine, they must address the border issue. Then the entire country sees where their priorities lay.

Why does the unnecessary, taxpayer money wasting funding for the Ukraine war have to have anything to do with Border Security?

Politicians can always screw up a wet dream. They did it again this time. There are immigration laws but no one enforces them. What makes you think, government will enforce these new ones?

It is all a **** ruse!!!

Codifies a policy that requires the government to process at least 1,400 asylum applications at ports of entry when the emergency authority is triggered.

— Raises the legal standard of proof to pass the initial screening for asylum, making it potentially more difficult for asylum seekers to pass.

— Expedites the asylum processing timeline from years to six months.

— Introduces a new process in which US Citizenship and Immigration Services would decide an asylum claim without it going through the immigration court system. The process doesn’t apply to unaccompanied migrant children.

— Preserves the president’s authority to designate humanitarian parole on a case-by-case basis. President Joe Biden has used the authority for Ukrainians, Afghans, Cubans, Venezuelans and Haitians, among other populations.

— Includes limited changes that narrow the use of parole at land borders.

— Authorizes 250,000 additional immigrant visas to spread out over five years for families and applies to employment-based immigrants.

— Provides a pathway to citizenship for Afghans paroled into the United States after the US’ withdrawal from Afghanistan and extends the special immigrant visa program for Afghans who worked for the US government.

How does one keep the past evolving forward each generation gap living in an ever changing population left adapting as displaced?

I read history of governing tomorrows since birth. Pattern of behavior are constantly ignoring the time limits with adapting as displaced.

It is a rhetorical question by how people manage time left adapting to the moment here. Rule of law punishes anyone not obeying social consensus any generation gap lived or alive.

the will of the people in charge directing outcomes of those they typecast into stereotypical behaviors each generation added.

Call it circle logic or cycles never same details again. But one thing is for sure from [personal experience, My body never stays what it was since arrived as a replacement to those kept the population here another generation now.

DNA is all the evidence I need. It is used against everyone of character in a rule of law when they don't compromise with chain of command to their world stage community theater of "We the people.".
