Not true. There are lots of us that want to drain the swamp...the swamp is full of "establishment politicians". And don't be fooled. Pelosi and the like are breaking plenty of laws but they are above the law.

This is one area where we can find some agreement.  By the way...liberals will whine when republicans do the same thing.  Do I think we should try to reduce things like this from happening?  Yes.  I just don't see an easy way to do that.  People don't forfeit their rights when they get elected to public office.  And you cannot take away the rights of others just because they know someone who holds a public office.

Unless you have something to tie Pelosi's investment to insider knowledge resulting from her government position, I see this as just throwing **** up against the wall to see what sticks.  Now, I hate Pelosi, and I'd love for her to hang for real corruption.  But, throwing stuff like this out without being able to tie it back to something she knew in advance muddies the water.

Did I jump on this as being the problem with Pelosi?  No I didn't - you can read my comment above. I doubt Nancy even knows what Nvidia is involved with, or is capable of knowing what this company does.

As I understand it, the way insider trading laws are currently written they do not cover information given to members of Congress.  Granted, Congress crafted the law but I honestly don't see what they could change that would solve the problem.

I am not Z09 lawyer but point seems to be ultraliberals are blind to Nasty Nancys hypocrisy and how they think the rich should be taxes more because they have more $$$.   Now that is just a wild guess but I am going to stick with it.
